Our
probability model includes, if applicable, reviewing the debtor’s consumer

real and personal assets, locating UCC and other liabilities including other
unsatisfied judgments, open lawsuits in process, and skip tracing of the
debtor.
In
order to domesticate a foreign or alien judgment in any state most if not all
states could require:
-
An exemplified or triple sealed copy of the judgment.
-
Court filing fees and related costs to
execute post-judgment remedies.
- A 20 to 30 day notice of filing of foreign
judgment provision which must be satisfied prior to executing post-judgment
remedies.
The collection of foreign and alien judgments
can be barred if the debtor asserts certain rights and defenses reserved to him
or her in the state where they currently reside and/or if due process has not
been followed.
